Southern Profundity

If you've ever been on the phone with me at 2:59 in the afternoon, you've heard the tornado that rages through the door in the form of 3 noisy, excited children. That same tornado usually takes over the bus stop at 6:45 every morning (combined with weather systems from other households). Needless to say, the noise and action really get to me sometimes. I was remarking to my neighbor about my maniacal morning. She said, "Yeah, but in 15 years, none of them will be running through your door."

I was reminded of this song by Trace Adkins. Darn country singers! Don't they just say it right, sometimes?

You're gonna miss this
You're gonna want this back
You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast
These Are Some Good Times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now
But you're gonna miss this

Well, Hurricane Payton just called and needs his homework run to him at school (a weekly occurrence) and Tropical Storm Reily is running around naked.

I'm gonna miss this.
